Now you can import and manage Aircraft, AI Aircraft, Panels, Sound-packages and sceneries.

You can name all folders free and the verification process during installation is improved significant.

Now most of your installations will be accepted!

To analyse the import files before installation you have now access to all system commands in your import form.

The import function is now placed in the main menu now and you have all kind of installations in one global form.

We also enhanced the online help. Tool tips are now available for all fields and functions and you can individual switch them on or off.

Now you can open this manual directly on the main menu.

We insert a new section in our main menu: Charts! Here you can store and manage all documents, pictures, manuals and charts. With one click, you can open them directly with the program of your choice. This new section will help you to organize all your manuals and charts.

We now offer full FS2004 support within SimControl 2.

To make your managing work faster we rearrange all forms. In the aircraft and scenery section, you now have the list and input form together on one page. This partitioning will make your work much faster and will give you a better overview.

In the detail view for the installed aircraft, you find all variations and information about the selected aircraft. A popup with all errors found will help you to fix errors.

All Read me files coming with your installed add-on could now be open directly.

SimControl 2 could use all installed program for opening.

SimControl 2 now offers you a panel and sound pool library. You can move all panels and sounds to this library and share each of them with other aircraft.

To change a panel or sound scheme you need only one click of the mouse.

A new export function will help you to organize and file all aircraft. You can export every single aircraft together with his panel and sound package.You can export your aircraft compressed and auto generate a read me file and a preview picture. For uploading the aircraft to our online database, you can automatically generate the installation script file.

SimControl’s maintenance scan is completely rearranged. You now have all functions on one main page. We call this area now “Service”. We arrange the functions of the service area now in one global list. Here we add several new functions. SimControl could fix the autopilot error in your Flight Simulator, install the new AFCAD 2 airport files, complete the small ATC airport list with thousands of new airports and move unused gauges to your SimControl 2 archive. Compress and decompress your archive files -make a complete or individual backup before or after scanning. You can save the backup files compressed or uncompressed; you can choose what part of your Flight Simulator you want to backup. You also have a full restore function now.

To make your error list more readable you can now refine double entries.

We also improve the third party software recognition. SimControl will now leave all third party software untouched!

You can now correct most errors directly with a double click and open the new SimEdit editor.

All service settings are now stored and could be reused.

You can now use different air traffic files; you can choose and change them in your service and Air Traffic area.

We have removed the FS Settings area. Parts of this were integrated now in the main preference menu. Because of the significant differences between FS2002 and FS2004, this section is no longer necessary.

Especially in FS2004, the installation of a .dll file could be very dangerous.We now show you a message during installation, if we install a separate .dll file. In the main preferences, you have the option to deactivate and activate these module files individually. Therefore, in case of an unexpected error you can find this error very fast.

SimControl 2 now gives you the function to change your FS start-up screen.

Registration or purchase could now be making automatically out of SimControl 2.

SimControl 2 now has an integrated update function. From the main menu,you can check for a new version or write a mail to our support division.

You need no experience for installing add-ons. You need no experience of the internal Flight Simulator structure to use add-ons.

SimControl 2 checks the creation date of all installed files, so you can be sure that you always have the newest gauges and sounds!

Air traffic is one of the most important features; it gives your simulation “the real touch”. Many users are disappointed because they do not see much air traffic. One of the reasons is wrong or missing aircraft in the Air Traffic Database. SimControl 2 automatically installs all available aircraft and marks the flight plans that are using a wrong or non-existent airplane. It takes only one click with the mouse to correct this problem.

Even for newcomers it is quite simple to change or add flight plans, because SimControl 2 does not use any special strange terminology.

You can change existing plans, add flight plans, or change the aircraft in use.And for inexperienced users we integrate a database for all worldwide available airports with their location, city, airport, country and the necessary ICAO code, which is used to identify departure, destination, and other airports.

SimControl 2 uses its own integrated script language and were prepared for future enhancements. With this scripting language, SimControl 2 is ready for all upcoming versions of Flight Simulator; we only have to change our scripting engine.

SimControl 2 work with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and 2002.

Installing new aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator can be a daunting task.

Here you find reasons for most of the system crashes that occur: A wrong panel, some old outdated gauges, and your system crashes. SimControl 2 has a wide range of tests, controls and error correction functions to help you through this obscure installation jungle.

The same problem can occur while installing a scenery file. You install new scenery, start Flight Simulator, and the system crashes. With SimControl 2, you can handle this. SimControl 2 can proof many rules, thereby giving you the chance to eliminate incorrect sceneries systematically.

The maintenance assistant will proof all paths and files and will inform you if there are any problems (in so far as possible).

Also integrated into your SimControl 2 is a complete backup procedure, which will zip and save all the important Flight Simulator files. Confirm you have enough free hard disk space for your backup files before you install SimControl 2!

For experienced users we integrated a special text editor with some helpful features. You can open error-related files directly with this editor. A complete list of all file specific commands will help you to find and correct errors on the fly.

For the most important file types (aircraft.cfg, scenery.cfg, effect.fx, fs200x.cfg, panel.cfg, sound.cfg, flight files, and for all tokens and variables) we installed a complete language database. With a click on a command, you can search or insert it in the actual file. You also have a “pop-up menu” for opening the most important files of SimControl 2 directly: a nice, small, but very helpful tool!
